The Justice Department announced that Ryan James Roach was extradited to the United States on October 28 for allegedly hijacking university networks for cryptocurrency mining. Roach and Mathiew James Stubbings are accused of compromising at least four universities in New York, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Massachusetts between mid-2016 and late 2019.
